Rally Cancelled
This weekend’s rally has been cancelled the rally field is currently under 2" of water and with the wet weather forecast the landowner had no choice but to cancel, because of the state of the field. As you may be aware this is a commercial site and I am sure he did not take the decision lightly. Paul, the landowner was very apologetic.
BUCKS – “BLUE NOSE” RALLY
Well the clue is in the title. Generally speaking this first rally in the Bucks calendar is cold, snowy, wet and muddy. Who would have thought that the sun would shine and vans would pull off the field without the need for the trusted 4x4.
How strange did we all look dressed in ski attire for our themed rally based around a ski resort, hence the title “On the Piste at Mount Blount”, Kingston Blount being the venue, when really t-shirts and sunglasses would have been more appropriate. Never the less this first rally weekend went of with a blast, skiing games were played by all and traditional “Gluhwein” was served to the adults along with a ski resort feast of meatballs and apple strudel.
